Table For Two

Had a scrumptious dinner with my bf on Sunday at Indulgence, Ipoh… The ambiance was really nice for fine dining… Well, actually this was my very first fine dining experience…

Their menu.... Quite a lot of dishes to choose from... Took a while to choose what to eat...

His drink, Pellegrino RM10... Somehow I don't like the taste...

My drink, Iced Chocolate RM14, it would taste better if there's less ice...

Free flow house bread... They were crispy outside and fluffy inside...

When we was ordering our food the waitress brought the specials board over and told us what are the specials for the day... Bf not knowing the price was just beside the name of the appetizer, he randomly ordered this Blood Orange, Ricotta & Calamari Salad which was RM53... One funny thing about this appetizer was the calamari taste burnt... I don't know it taste like this or it supposed to be like this... There's fried cheese balls and something which taste like hard boil egg yolk but it was white in colour... Overall this appetizer was okay but it is way too pricey...

My main course, Choggè RM32... This is a herb marinated chicken and the skin was crispy... There's spinach under the skin of the chicken... Under the chicken there's mashed potatoes and it tasted real good... If there's less spinach in the chicken it would be nicer... hehe...

His main course, Juan RM38... This is like Fettuccine Carbonara with oysters and wild mushrooms... According to bf, the pasta was not consistent as in some are too soft... The wild mushrooms taste better than the pasta itself... LOL... I tasted the pasta and it was okay for me...

After the main dish, I was already quite full... Bf wanted to try their desserts... So we waited a while only ordered the desserts... Unfortunately, there wasn't much to choose from... Probably most of them already sold out... I got this Fudge on Fudge, RM7 as my dessert... It comes with chocolate and vanilla sauce and strawberry on top... It is was savoury...

Initially, bf wanted to try their tiramisu but sold out... So he tried this Vanilla Cupcake which cost RM8.50 instead... He said it was too sweet for him... I asked him whether Cupcake Chic cupcake nicer or this and he said Cupcake Chic... The next time we ask whether there's tiramisu or not only we go there to try...

Lastly, thank you bf for this lovely dinner at Indulgence... Muacks...
