End of Week 13

Almost the end of war, all assignments and presentations finished for this sem... Finally, I can spend some time updating my blog.... In 2 weeks more, I will be having my final exam... After that is sem break... Yay!!! For now I need to take a few days break... =)

What have I done and learn in this sem? Haha... Done quite a lot and learn quite a lot... EMC (English To Mass Comm), erm... Almost the same with CE (Communicative English) but just that this sem we need to do a report, which I don't feel like doing... Did not do a good job... haiz... But then, need to thanks Kwang Chen for doing most parts of the report... Poor him...

Next, Advertising Copywriting... XD... Did not pay attention during lecture... Gonna suffer for my finals later... Did a group assignment for this subject, repositioning Levi's... We started to discuss about this assignment quite early and discovered that our concept was wrong a week before submition... lol... Managed to pass up though, after many nights of rushing it...

Moving on is Intro to Mass Comm... Did not pay attention to lecture as well... =P This is the only subject for this sem that have mid-term... Till now I don't know my marks for mid-term but I know that it won't be good coz I did not study... Well, I did planned to study for it but I overslept... XD.... For individual assignment, we need to do a report also... A hard news report, which requires us to search for hard news from foreign countries and compare the news reported in local and also foreign countries... I did the lauching of missiles of North Korea... Haha... I think I got 5.7 for my hard news only... Nvm... We had a group assignment which is magazine... We are suppose to do at least a 4 page magazine... Our magazine is about tourism (Malaysia T_T)... Spent 2 days doing this and slept 4 hours nia...

Would like to say thank you to my group members OYZ, Sook Wai, Mee Yen and Lay Koon...

Uhm... Conceptual Design... I think this is the only one that burdens me a lot... =P Haha... Sorry ms liong... I know you are nice and very dedicated but I'm just not that art kind of person... So I'm a bit de retarded in arts... Keke... A lot of assignments and research for CD... Assignments: Fine art, liberal art, pointillism & exercise, line research and exercise, figure ground and sketches, texture research and rubbing, typography, types of balance, visual contrast and also sketch book... Drawing borders, writing title + colouring it and measuring is really really tiring... Somemore need to be neat and tidy... After I kena the first re-do for pointillism exercise, the rest of the CD assignments I did also quite tidy and neat... XD But all these are very time consuming, it can take me hours to finish... I can do this from evening till the next morning...

Had a lots of fun learning Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and also Dreamweaver... 4 individual assignments and one group assignment... Before continuing I would like to thank my brother Edwin for the softwares... =)

Last is teambuilding... Well I don't think I learn much but this subject is darn easy... Just have to attend every class, do simple presentation and do Ms Chan Siew Fen's simple exercises will do... No exams for this subject... Keke... We did a presentation of movie press conference... Damn funny... Joey the emcee, Venz as CEO of Hilton Hotel (VIP), CNY as Michael Bay, OYZ as Shia La Beof, Me as Megan Fox (Pig?), Bluemoon and Ally as reporters... Good job guys...
